A Delicate Touch

This was during the summer of 2010. It was a beautiful day, but there was too much sun so I took Sara, this beautiful model here, and we hid in the shaded canal at Lake Park in Coshocton, Ohio and found some beautiful ambient lighting. This image was turned in for a Photography ll assignment in college. The theme I chose for my powerpoint was Flowers. I love the way she is delicately holding the flower in her hands and ever so gently caressing the flowers against her cheek. Her eyes are closed as she basks in the softness of the flower. She did a better job modeling than I did photographing her hehe. The vanishing point of the canal in interesting. It creates leading lines directly to the subject. I love how her hair is pushed back and over her opposite shoulder.
